It is important to know that fishes can be trained in two ways. They is extensive aquaculture where fishes are appropriately cultivated under natural water, this could be in the river or stream. There is also intensive aquaculture where fish are sufficiently nourished with external food supply.

We use the latter to train our fishes. Here, we possess state of the art equipment for the proper rearing of fishes. While there are thousands of fish species all around the globe, only very few of them can be trained in a fish farm.

We take pride in our unique fishing rearing approach and technology. We are not just training them like everyone else doing this business. We see the fish business as a legacy and that is why our fishes are in the best possible condition you can find anywhere. The fishes we have include:

  • Catfish

So popular is catfish business that Ronald Reagan (an ex-US president) established a National Catfish Day on June 25th 1987, for Americans. There are different types of catfish. Examples are blue catfish, channel catfish, heteroclarias and the flathead type.

In our fishery, we have are the channel and the flathead type. Catfish is considered a bottom-feeding fish that are found in freshwater and coastal region around the world. One of the major problems of training a catfish is the water in the pond.

The PH of the pond is very important, is the pond acidic, basic or neutral. We have taken care of this by ensuring that we monitor the PH of the pond at the interval of 4 hours daily.

  • Tilapia

This is the most abundant and most widely eaten of all the fishes. Tilapia fish is well doused with the fundamental nutrients for a healthy and sustainable living cutting through carbohydrate, saturated fats, vitamins, dietary fibers, sodium, and high protein.

These nutrients as we know contribute to its popularity as a staple fishing delicacy. To ensure you get the best value for your money, we have taken great care to lime our pond adequately to prevent acidity in the water. We also apply fertilizer two weeks before stocking the fishes. This is to encourage the growth of phytoplankton and zooplankton which are best known to be the natural food for farmed fish.

There are other types of fishes we can train like craps, salmon e.t.c but these two are the ones we have at the moment. The reason we started with these two is that they are the most adaptable to environmental conditions. You can order them from any part of the world and they will survive in your environment if you want to train them.
